Miles was honored to participate in a Colorado Capital Conference hosted by the Rockies Venture Club on Octoboer 2, 2012. It was interesting to watch as he stood up in front of a room full of adults and gave his business pitch. He along with one of his friends, Lyla of Flour Gal, was awarded the Youth Entrepreneurship Award!

Miles chose Project C.U.R.E. as his charity. A portion of all profits from Sushimee are being donated to Project C.U.R.E..

Miles was first introduced to them when he had an opportunity to volunteer with them. Their mission is to gather unused medical supplies from the U.S. and ship the medical supplies to third world countries.

His night of volunteering entailed sorting the supplies and helping to pack them up and prepare them for shipping. He packed them up and learned all sorts of information about medical supplies we had never seen before!

For more information and other ways to help Project C.U.R.E. please go to www.projectcure.org

Here he is presenting his first official donation of $50 to Megan at Project CURE.

It was sooooo cool to see the Figure It Out show air on Nickelodeon! Thank you for all the comments!

I am having a big launch party this Saturday so my friends and family can see and taste the new Sushimee flavors. And for every box I sell this Saturday, I will donate .50 to Project C.U.R.E.

Lots of good stuff coming!

It's official, candy sushi is now on store shelves! Sugarlicious in Cherry Creek North picked up Sushimee.

Miles is delivering weekly orders (except for the month of April). He has been delivering for almost two months and held a demo this past Saturday. Expect to see more great things happeneing at this store.

Go check them out...its a new small business in Denver that is owned by a local, Jill!

Sweet things happen with the Candy Sushi kid and the Cake Bubble Lady get together to brainstorm new ideas. Thank you to Pam Hackbarth of Cake Bubbles for spending an afternoon with Miles at Lola's Sugar Rush candy store in Littleton, CO. Together they brainstormed several new ideas.

Miles took those ideas in front of a Kids Focus group took place in January 2012 at the Young Americans Bank in Denver. Those 8 kids tasted candy after candy after candy and even had the chance to try to create their own new combination.

New and exciting products are on their way soon!

And guess what...Sugarlicious candy store in Denver, CO has signed on to carry Sushimee Candy Sushi! It will begin to arrive February 3rd.

Candy.com has been a wonderful supporter of Miles. They named him the Candy.com Kid and donated $500 of candy to his business ventures.
